Quick & Easy Blackberry Cobbler

- 1 1/2 Cups All-purpose flour
- 3/4 Cups plus 1 teaspoon sugar, divided
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking powder
- 9 TBSP unsalted butter, melted
- Filling
- 1 Packages (18 ounces) Driscoll's Blackberries
- 3 TBSP plus 1 tsp sugar, divided
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
PLACE blackberries into a medium bowl. ADD 3TBSP sugar. ADD cornstarch. STIR blackberry mixture gently until berries are evenly coated.
POUR blackberry mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish.
SET ASIDE blackberry mixture.
PLACE flour into a medium bowl.
ADD 3/4 cup sugar.
ADD baking powder.
WHISK flour mixture until combined.
ADD melted butter.STIR flour mixture with a fork until dough comes together. Do not over-mix.
GATHER dough together with fingers.
DIVIDE dough into 9 loose balls.
FLATTEN balls into discs about 1/2-inch thick.
PLACE dough discs on top of blackberry mixture, spacing evenly.
SPRINKLE dough discs with remaining 1 teaspoon sugar.
BAKE cobbler 50 to 55 minutes or until berries are bubbling and dough is golden brown.
COOL SLIGHTLY on a wire rack before serving.
