Citrus Doodles

Like a snickerdoodle but with citrus not cinnamon.

Ingredients

• 2-3/4 cups flour
• 1 tblsp. Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup butter
• 1-1/2 cups sugar
• 1 tblsp orange zest
• 2 tsp lemon zest
• 2 eggs
• GLAZE
• 1 tblsp orange zest
• 2 tsp lemon zest
• 2-1/2 cups powdered sugar
• 3 tblsp orange juice
• 3 tblsp lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*
Whisk dry ingredients and set aside. Beat the butter and sugar, add the zest, then the eggs. Add the flour and beat till combined. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake @ 350 for 12-15 minutes.
Mix the ingredients for the glaze and frost the cooled cookies.
