Ingredients

  • 1 cup non-fat plain yogurt
  • 2/3 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons onion, grated (or 1 teaspoon onion powder)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • Salt

Step 1

If using plain yogurt, place it in a strainer lined with a paper towel and place the strainer over a bowl. Let the yogurt drain and thicken for 20 minutes. In a medium bowl, combine the strained yogurt and the rest of the ingredients. Add salt, to taste.
