Slow Cooker Peach Butter

Ingredients
- 5 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
In a blender, puree peaches.
In a 2-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients.
Cook on low setting 4 to 6 hours, or until butter reaches a thickened consistency and brown color. Let cool. Store in a container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Makes 3 cups
Notes:
If you don't have fresh peaches on hand, feel free to used canned peaches.
