Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 12 ounces cranberries (3 cups frozen)
  • can try 3/4 cup sugar & 3/4 cup OJ instead-

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water, sugar & salt to boil, stir to disslove sugar

Stir in cranberries

Return to boil, reduce to simmer

Simmer until about 2/3 of berries have popped open or til slightly thickened (5 to 15 mins)

Stir in orange zest.
