- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons liqueur of choice

Step 1
Submerge unopened can of condensed milk in a large, deep pot of water and bring to a boil. Simmer, over moderately low heat for 2 hours, adding water as needed to keep can completely submerged. Carefully remove the can and let cool slightly. Carefully open the can and transfer the dulce de leche to a bowl-it shoud be creamy and caramely. Whish until smooth and gradually whisk in the liqueur. Set aside to cool.
