Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teasp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 1/2 teasp pepper
  • 1 1/2 fresh bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta for 6 mins and drain.

Saute onion in 6 Tbsp. butter and stir in flour.

Gradually stir in milk until thickened and comes to a boil.

Stir in cheese and mustard, salt and pepper.

Mix pasta and sauce in lg. bowl.\Pour into 13x9" pan. Melt remaining butter, stir in crumbs. Sprinkle over pasta

Bake 350 degrees for 35 mins.
