Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon (or two cubes)
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups hot milk

Preparation
Step 1
Heat 2 cups of water in medium saucepan to boiling. Wash broccoli and cut into small pieces
Put broccoli in the water and boil for 10-15 minutes until tender
Remove from heat, set aside. Do not drain water
Melt margarine in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onions, celery, salt, and pepper. Cool slightly but do not brown
Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly
add the hot milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly until thick
Add the broccoli and water mixture, stir until it just boils then remove
