Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dart rum, warmed
- 1 stick (4 oz) butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- pinch salt

Step 1
Soak raisins in warm rum until soft, 10 minutes. Drain; reserve rum.
In medium saucepan, melt butter and sugar over medium-high heat. Add raisins, cream and salt. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer, whisking until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and stir in reserved rum.
Drizzle over pound cake, ice cream or bread pudding.
Makes 2 cups
