Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin cubes or strips
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teasp. salt
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups green pepper cut into wide strips
- 1 can(about 14 oz. ) peeled tomatoes (save juice)
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
Brown sirloin cubes, and garlic in salad oil until red disappears
Turn off fire and add water soy sauce and salt
Cover and simmer 45 mins
Add celery, onion and green pepper
Cook 10 mins then add peeled tomatoes. Mix remeining juice from tomatoes and enough water to make 1 cup.and mix with cornstarch. Add to peppersteak and cook for 15 mins. more
Serve over rice.
