Ingredients
- 1 can of lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1 lb sausage meat - can be hot or sweet
- heavy cream
- prosciutto slices

Preparation
Step 1
-mix together the first two items and then add enough heavy cream to make a consistency that will stick together and be a bit on the moist side, but not wet
-roll into small meatballs of about a tablespoon worth of mixture for each
- slice the prosciutto slices in half lengthwise and hold aside
- part bake the meatballs in a 325 degree oven, then remove and cool enough to handle and then wrap with the prosciutto slices and return to the oven to finish cooking through completely
- serve warm, should make about 15 to 20 meatballs per pound of sausage meat used
***if you don't cook part way before wrapping with the prosciutto, the ham gets very dry and hard
