  • 28 OZ CAN TOMATO PUREE
  • 2 16 OZ CAN TOMATO PASTE
  • 3/4 CUP WATER
  • 1/2 CUP ROMANO/PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED
  • 1 TSP OREGANO
  • 1 POUND GROUND SIRLOIN
  • 3/4 CUP ITALIAN SEASONED BREAD CRUMBS
  • 3/4 CUP ROMANO/PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED
  • 1 EGG
  • 3 TBSP ONION POWDER
  • 2 TBSP GARLIC POWDER
  • SALT & PEPPER
  • 1 PACKAGE ITALIAN SAUSAGE

Preparation

Step 1

BROWN CHOPPED ONION AND GARLIC IN OIL. WHEN REALLY BROWN, ADD SUGAR, STIR.

IN SAUCEPAN, PUT PUREE, PASTE, WATER (USE WATER TO RINSE OUT CANS), ADD CHEESE AND OREGANO. MIX IN ONION AND GARLIC.

IN A BOWL MIX SIRLOIN, BREADCRUMBS, CHEESE, EGG, ONION POWDER, SALT, PEPPER AND MIX WELL. FORM INTO MEATBALLS.

USE FRYING PAN USED FOR ONIONS AND GARLIC AND BROWN MEATBALLS.

PUT MEATBALLS AND ITALIAN SAUSAGE IN SAUCE. COOK FOR 3-4 HOURS.
