Philly-style Mac and cheese

Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1/2 lb sliced fresh mushtrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1 cup bef broth
- 2 cups (8 ox) shreddd provolone cheese
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1 tst garlic powder
- 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 pkg (10 1/2 oz) frozen steak-um slicd steaks, browned
- (I used deli roast beef and didn't brown)
- 1/2 cup French-Fried onions

Step 1
Cook macaroni according to parkage directions.
Saute the mushrooms, onion, and green peppers in butter in a large skillet until tender.
Stir in flour until blended: gradually add milk and broth.
Bring to a boil: cook and stir for 2 mins. or until thickened.
Reduce heat and add cheeses, and spices.
Drain macaroni and add to sauce. Add steak.
Transfer to a greasd baking dish (13 x 9), sprinkle with fried onions.
Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
