Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 1 large bunch of Romaine lettuce
- 8 3/4 inch slices french bread, cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup light mayo
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp milk
- dash of Worcestershire

Preparation
Step 1
Wash lettuce and pat dry with paper towels
cut or tear the lettuce leaves into bite size pieces and place in a large bowl. set aside.
Cut the bread into one inch cubes and place in a large bowl. set aside.
In a small bowl, add the melted butter to the crushed garlic and mix well. poor the garlic- butter mixture over the bread cubes and mix until all of the cubes are evenly coated. Place the bread cubes onto a baking tray and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until they are crisp and dry. Allow them to cool for 15 minutes before adding them to the salad.
Combine the mayo, lemon juice, Worcestershire, salt and black pepper, parmesan cheese, crushed garlic, and milk in a medium size bowl. Using a whisk , mix the ingredients until well blended. Pour the dressing onto the lettuce and gently toss until the lettuce is coated evenly. Gently toss the croutons with the lettuce and dressing.
