Ingredients
- 8-10 cups bread cubes, cut in bite sized pieces
- 1 cup raisings
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 T melted unsalted butter and cooled
- 4 cups half and half/whole milk

Preparation
Step 1
preheat 300*...lightly grease with butter or spray 9x13 glass pan.place the pan into a larger roasting pan that has enough room around its sides to fill with water.
Place bread cubes and raisins in baking dish
Custard.
in electric mixer, beat the eggs and sugar on high speed until thick and lemon colored.. about 4-5 min..when beater is raised the batter will fall bvack into bowl in slow ribbon. beat in vanilla and cinnamon.. then beat in melted butter and 1/2 and 1/2.
carefully pour or ladle custard over the bread cubes until completly co vered.press down so all covered with milk.
prepare water bath.. boiling water..carefully pour in enough hot water so water is halfway up sides of 9x13 pan.
bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes oujt clean..or gently press down on the center of pudding.. if any custartd comes up to the top, the pudding needs to be baked a little longer.
remove pudding from the water bath and cool slightly.
