Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, cheese, and water. Mix until dough is firm. Using a small scoop, place dough on the prepared pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, salt, onion powder and parsley. Brush over baked biscuits immediately upon removing from oven.
Tips:
1. Add a dash of Old Bay Seasoning to the batter and 1/4 teaspoon to the butter mixture, use milk instead of water and THEN it was exactly like the famous seafood chain restaurant!
2. Use 1 c. of the cheese as well as adding 1 tsp. of garlic, 1/4 tsp. onion powder and about 1/2 tsp. of dried parsley to the biscuit batter. In the butter, increase the parsley to 1/2 tsp. and omit the salt. Brush the biscuits with the butter and pop them back in the oven for a few minutes.
