Ingredients
- 2 lbs peeled and quartered green apples
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup water
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Bring apples, cider, zest, juice, allspice, and water to boil in pot. Reduce heat and simmer until thick, about 1 1/2 hours. Puree with 1 1/2 cup brown sugar.
