Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg and add extracts. Mix dry ingredients, and add to creamed mixture. Mix thoroughly and chill for 1 hour. form into small balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. flatten slightly and place a n almond in the center of each.
Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
