  • 4 chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tomato, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin

Directions

Put the chicken, sliced onions, garlic and one tablespoon of salt in a pan and add enough water to cook the chicken. Bring the water to a boil and let it simmer 30 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred the meat, keep the broth aside.

Take a pan, melt the butter and add the remaining ingredients except tomato sauce. Saute for about ten minutes, stir in the tomato sauce and shredded chicken and cook in a little broth; the dish should be moist but not drenched in sauce. Finally, add salt to taste.
