  • 6 slices white bread cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups milk

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a nine by three inch round pyrex pan and spread bread cubes evenly over the bottom. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk eggs with maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon until evenly mixed.

Gently whisk in milk to blend. Pour mixture over the bread cubes and let rest in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Place pyrex pan in a larger pan and pour hot water around the pan. Place in preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, until centre springs back to the touch. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Serve with maple syrup.
