  • 3 Cups sifted flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 Cup shortening
  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 2/3 Cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Cups blueberries

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and sugar then beat in egg yolks. Add vanilla then milk while alternating with the dry ingredients. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Fold in blueberries.

Bake in greased 9 x 13 pan at 375 degrees about 45 minutes.
