Chex Mix - Muddy Buddies and PB/Chocolate Blast

Ingredients

• 9 cups Corn, Rice, Wheat, or Chocolate Chex combination
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

• 6 cups Rice Chex
• 1 cup white vanilla baking chips
• 1 cup peanut butter chips
• 1 cup M&M's
• 1 cup dry-roasted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Measure cereal into large bowl. In another bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter until melted...stir smooth. (About 1 1/2 minutes total) Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal and stir until evenly coated. Add powdered sugar. Put lid on bowl and shake until coated. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Line 2 cookie sheets with foil or waxed paper. Place 3 cups cereal in large bowl. In small bowl, microwave white chips until melted. Pour over cereal and stir evenly to coat. Spread in layer on one of the cookie sheets. Refrigerate until set. Repeat with the remaining cereal and peanut butter chips. Gently break up coated cereal into large bowl. Add candy and peanuts. Stir gently to combine and store in airtight container.
