Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 375
2. Unroll crust; cut into 14 strips, approximately 3/4" wide. Do NOT separate
3. Lightly brush egg white over strips.
4. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over dough strips.
5. Starting in the middle, roll up one strip. Then take this rolled up strip and place over another strip and roll up. Set aside.
6. Continue with remaining strips. As strips get shorter will need to use additional strips to make cookies approximately the same size.
7. Place one dough on a parchment sheet and place another parchment piece on top.
8. Using a rolling pin, roll out dough to a flattened circle.
9. Transfer to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
10. Repeat with remaining dough.
11. Sprinkle all with sugar and bake for 20-22 minutes.
12. Cool on wire rack.

NOTE: Can be used to make two very large cookies to look like what you would find in a bakery/pastry shop.
NOTE: Recipe is easily doubled.
