Ingredients

  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne peper
  • 3 lbs (about 30) frozen chicken wing pieces
  • 2 medium ripe avocados, halves, seeded, and peeled
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp snipped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp chicken broth
  • Fresh chile pepper

Step 1

Coat a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a large plastic bag, combine cumin, 1 teaspoon of the garlic salt, paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Ross frozen wing pieces in cumin mixture half at a time. Place chicken in prepared pan. Bake at 400 degrees 50 to 60 minutes or until crispy.

Mash avocado with a fork. Stir in onion, lemon juice, cilsantro, chicken broth, and remaining 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt. Cover and chill. Garnish with a chile pepper to serve.
