- For dough:
- 2 cup fine flour (maida)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp curd
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp oil
- Oil/ghee
- Salt to taste
- For stuffing:
- 3-4 medium sized potatoes
- 1-2 green chilly finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/6 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp dry mango powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste

Step 1
1. Sieve flour, add baking soda & salt. Pour curd, milk & oil in it. Mix
all these ingredients properly, use some water & knead a soft dough.
2. Cover the dough & keep aside for 4 hours allowing it to ferment, only
then dough will be ready to make naan.
3. Boil potatoes until they are tender. Once cooked, drain water & let
potatoes cool down.
4. Next peel the skin off & mash potatoes.
5. Add green chill , coriander powder, cumin seeds, red chili powder,
turmeric powder,dry mango powder, garam masala & salt to mashed potatoes
& mix it well. Stuffing is ready.
6. Knead dough for about 2 mins & divide dough into 6-7 equal balls.
7. Divide filling in similar way.
8. Take a ball of dough , roll it into a rough circle & place the filling
in center.Cover edges of dough encasing filling to make a ball.
9. Wrap this potato stuffed ball in dry flour, expand a little with your
fingers. Gently roll with a rolling pin into a round naan.
10. Coat naan with ghee/oil & place them in a preheated oven for 10-15
mins.
11. Keep an eye on the naan when in oven. Half way through brush them with
ghee/oil again.
12. After naan is baked, it should become golden brown color on top.
13. Serve hot.
