Ingredients
- 1 lb Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 Cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbs parsley flakes
- 2 (16 1/2 oz) jars spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 package lasagna noodles (uncooked- 8 oz)

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together cottage cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, one egg, spinach, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. In a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish, layer 1/2 cup sauce, 1/3 of the noodles and 1/2 of the cheese mixture. Repeat. Top with remaining noodles, then the remaining sauce. Sprinkle wit the remaining mozzarella cheese. Pour one cup water around the edges. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake one hour and fifteen minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand fifteen minutes before serving.
