Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teabags of choice
  • 1/2 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 piece fresh ginger - (1" long) sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey or to taste
  • Brandy or Cognac to taste

Step 1

In a small saucepan bring water to a boil and remove from the heat. Pour water into a heated teapot over teabags, add lemon, ginger and honey and brew for up to 5 minutes. Serve in teacups, with brandy or cognac to taste.
