- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 teabags of choice
- 1/2 lemon thinly sliced
- 1 piece fresh ginger - (1" long) sliced
- 1/4 cup honey or to taste
- Brandy or Cognac to taste
In a small saucepan bring water to a boil and remove from the heat. Pour water into a heated teapot over teabags, add lemon, ginger and honey and brew for up to 5 minutes. Serve in teacups, with brandy or cognac to taste.
