Ingredients
- 1/2 c Crisco
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 c sifted icing sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and shortening
Add vanilla
Gradually add sugar,one cup at a time,on medium speed. Scrape bowl regularly
Add milk and beat at high speed until fluffy
Keep icing covered with a damp cloth until ready to use. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Rewhip before using.
Yield 3 cups
*For pure white icing use all crisco,clear vanilla and 2 tsp butter flavouring
