#10: Buddy Valastro's Mocha Cake

Ingredients

• 1 box chocolate (or devil’s food) cake mix
• 2 tablespoons espresso powder
• 1 can chocolate frosting
• 1 tablespoon Frangelico (hazelnut liquor) or 1/2 cup hazelnut spread (or both!)
• Chocolate covered espresso beans

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Combine espresso powder with 3 tablespoons of hot water and mix into batter. Bake the cake in two round cake pans. Remove from oven and let cool.

In medium bowl, mix frosting with Frangelico and/or hazelnut spread.

Frost cake with Frangelico frosting and decorate with chocolate covered espresso beans.
