Ingredients

  • 15 oz. frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
  • 1-1/4 cups reserved juice, plus water to make
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Strain raspberries through sieve. Reserve juice.

Measure juice. There will be about 1 cup. Add water to make 1-1/4 cups. Pour into saucepan.

Mix in sugar and cornstarch. Heat and stir until it boils and thickens. Cool Pour onto plate before or after dessert is placed on plate.

STRAWBERRY COULIS: Use sliced strawberries in syrup rather than raspberries.
