Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 8 tablespoons butter -- packed
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts -- chopped
- FILLING:
- 1 3/8 Each cream cheese (12 oz) -- room temperature
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 each eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Step 1
CRUST: Combine flour and brown sugar in food processor and mix well. Add
butter and mix well. Stir in nuts. Set aside. Set aside one half of
mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture into 8 x 8 pan and bake at
350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool slightly.
FILLING: Add cream cheese and sugar and mix well. Add all other
ingredients in mixing bowl, mix well, and pour over crust. Sprinkle
reserved topping and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or if you prefer
BAKE FOR 35 MINUTES, TURN OFF OVEN AND LEAVE BARS IN OVEN FOR ABOUT 20
MINUTES. Cool before cutting into bars.
