Ingredients

  • Batter:
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1 tbsp baking poder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Streusel:
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Batter:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in large mixing bowl.
Cut in margarine using a pastry blender into dry ingredients.
In a separete small bowl, beat egg. Add milk and vanilla to egg and stir.
Add egg mixture to dry ingredients. Stir
Grease a round layer pan.
Add batter and spread in pan. Sprinkle Streusel topping on batter.
Bake for 30 mins.

Streusel:
In a small saucepan, melt margarine.
In a small mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
Add melted margarine and stir with a fork. Do not overmix.
