Three Bean Casserole

This hearty side dish is the perfect complement to any picnic or potluck.
Tip: Feel free to make a day or two ahead of your event and keep refrigerated. Reheat at 350°F until hot and bubbly.

Ingredients
- 5 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (15.5-oz) cans butter beans or large lima beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (19-oz) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (16-oz) can baked beans
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp and then set it aside on paper towels.
Discard all but 2 Tbsp of bacon fat from the skillet. Add the garlic, onions, and peppers and sauté until tender.
Combine the sautéed vegetables, bacon, and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and pour the mixture into a 3-quart casserole. Bake for 50 minutes to an hour, or until bubbly.
