Ingredients

  • 2

    lbs lean ground beef

  • 2

    large onions, chopped

  • 3

    cups water

  • 1

    (29oz) can tomato sauce

  • 2

    (15oz) cans diced tomatoes

  • 3

    cloves garlic minced

  • 1

    tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 1

    bay leaf

  • 3

    tbsp soy sauce

  • 1

    tsp pepper

  • 2

    tsp season salt

  • 1

    tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2

    cups dried elbow macaroni

Directions

1. In a Dutch oven, sauté ground beef over medium heat until no pink remains. 2. Add onions and sauté until they are tender, about 5 minutes. 3. Add next 10 ingredients and mix well. Cover and allow this to cook for 20-25 minutes. 4. Add elbow macaroni, stir well, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes. 5. Turn off heat, remove bay leaf and allow mixture to sit about 30 minutes before serving.
