Ingredients

• 1 lb 10x sugar
• 1 c butter
• 4 eggs
• 3 c four
• 1 c milk
• 1/2-1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp almond or vanilla extract
• 1 c chopped walnuts if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease tube pan or 2 loaf pans.

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat well.
Milk flour and baking soda together.
Add flour and milk alternately to butter mixture.
