Ingredients
- Variations:
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1-1/4 Tbsp. of butter (softened)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. yeast
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg yolk + 1 Tbsp. water (egg wash)
- Coarse sea salt, sesame seeds, mixed fresh herbs

Preparation
Step 1
1. Blend the butter, salt, sugar, yeast and flour together. Mix well to form dough.
2. Flatten the dough on a sheet tray, cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 24 hours.
3. Take a small handful of the dough and roll out through a regular pasta machine at #3.
4. Cut into 12" pieces and roll through pasta machine using fettucine blade.
5. Lay on the sheet tray and keep at room temperature for 1 hour. Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt, or other variations, and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200º until golden brown.
