Gay's Peach or Strawberry Pie

• 1/2 stick unsalted butter
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon almond extract
• 1 deep dish pie shell
• 4 cups sliced peaches or straberries
• 1 regular size container of Cool Whip

Step 1

Bake the pie shell according to the recipe and let cool.
Cream the butter and add sugar and extract. When combined and creamy, line the cooled pie shell with the butter mixture smoothing it all over bottom and sides of shell.
Places slices in shell and cover with cool whip.
Chill for 2-4 hour
