Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried pinquito beans, picked over and soaked overnight(or pinto beans)
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced
  • 3 whole TIEN TSIN CHILI PEPPERS
  • 1/4 lb finely chopped bacon
  • 1 14.5 oz can dices red tomatoes with juice plus 14.5 oz of water
  • 1/2 tsp Beef Soup Base
  • 1 tbsp BBQ or CHILI 3000

Preparation

Step 1

Drain the soaked beans in a colander and add to a 6-quart stockpot with all of the other ingredients including the 14.5 ounces of water. Place over low heat, cover and simmer for 6 hours stirring occasionally. You'll have enough beans to serve a lot of hungry cowboys with 4-ounce servings and some left over to accompany your morning eggs.
