Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cup prechopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- 3/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 28 oz fire roasted diced tomatoes undrained
- 4 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese cut into cubes
- 2 cups 1% milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 12 slices (1/2 inch thick) French bread
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 oz shredded Asiago cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat olive oil and saute onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute
2. Add basil and tomatoes and bring to boil
3. Stir in cheese until melted
4. Place mixture into blender and blend until smooth
5. Return to pan and stir in milk, salt and pepper and cook med-high 2 minutes
6. Place bread on baking sheet and spray with cooking spray
7. Broil 1 minute; rub with garlic over toasted side; turn bread over and top with Asiago cheese and broil 1 minute
