Linda's Scrumptious Cake

Ingredients

• 1 boxed cake- e.g., Duncan Hines (lemon, yellow, or white)
• 3 oz. jellow box
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1/2 cup cold water
• cool whip or whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Bake a cake (lemon, yellow or white) according to the directions on the box.
Just before the cake is done mix a small package (3 oz.) of jello with one cup boiling water. Stir till dissolved. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water.
Remove cake from oven when done.
Poke holes in the cake with a standard or serving size fork.
Spoon the liquid jello over the cake.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving frost with cool whip or whipped cream.
