Ingredients
- 1/2 C unsalted butter
- 1 C powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 C flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. white chocolate melted with 1 tsp. crisco
- 1/2 C finely chopped candy canes

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°. Beat butter and powdered sugar. Add egg and mix well. Add peppermint extract and vanilla; mix. Blend in flour and salt.
Refrigerate in plastic wrap 1 hour.
Shape dough into 1" balls. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool completely
Dip in chocolate and then in candy canes.
