Beef/Lamb/Turkey Kofta Patties

Ingredients
- Kofta:
- 2 lbs ground meat (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, or any combo thereof)
- 1 onion, grated (food processor's grater works great)
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
- 3 T fresh mint, chopped
- 3/4 C fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 3/4 t dried coriander
- 1/4 t allspice
- 1 1/2-1 3/4 t salt
- 1/2 t black pepper
- Yogurt sauce: (or just buy pre-made Tzatziki sauce)
- 2 c plain yogurt
- 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
- Handful fresh mint, chopped
- Diced cucumber (opt)
- Flat bread or pita
- Sliced cucumber
- Sliced tomatoes
- Feta cheese
- Lettuce

Preparation
Step 1
(If skewering, soak skewers in water for at least 30 min)
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (don't overmix or meat will toughen). Form into patties (or meatball/sausage shapes and thread those onto soaked skewers). Grill until cooked through.
Serve with flat bread or pita, top with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, yogurt sauce and feta cheese.
