Ingredients

  • 20 thin chocolate wafer cookies, crushed (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bars (1.4 oz each) chocolate-covered English toffee candy, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix crushed cookies and melted butter. Press mixture in bottom of pan.

In medium bowl, beat brown sugar and 2/3 cup butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs until blended. On low speed, beat in flour and salt. Stir in toffee candy, pecans and chocolate chips. Spread over crust.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until set. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.
