Ingredients

  • cups sugar

  • cups brown sugar

  • 1

    cup evaporated milk

  • 4

    tablespoons butter

  • cups pecan halves

  • 2

    tsp vanilla

Directions

Bring sugars and cream to a boil. Add pecans, butter, and vanilla after temperature reaches 200-225 degrees. Stir rapidly until mixture thickens and loses glossy finish. Work quickly to lay out on wax paper. Let cool completely and store in airtight container.
