Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 2 c. light cream (don't substitute or custard will not set)
  • 1 t. vanilla (or 1 T. rum)
  • nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg yolks slightly. Add sugar, salt, cream and vanilla and stir well. Pour into pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes or until firm.
