Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
  • 4 large eggs

Preparation

Step 1

1) In medium saucepan, place water,
butter, salt; bring to a boil;
remove from heat.
2) Stir in flour all at once; beat
well until mixture leaves the sides
of the pan.
3) Cool for 1 minute. Add eggs, one
at a time, beating well after each
addition. Mixture should be smooth
and glossy.
4) Using a spoon, make 1 1/2 inch
mounds on a greased baking sheet
about 2 inches apart.
5) Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees,
continue baking 30 minutes or until
shells are golden brown with dry
rigid sides. Make a slit in the
side of each puff with a small
sharp knife, cool on wire rack.
6) Fill centers as directed.

CREAM FILLING
1 envelope Dream Whip
2 1/2 cups milk
2 3 3/4 oz. instand vanilla pudding

Use 1/2 cup milk for dream whip and follow directions on package. Use 2 cups milk for both packages pudding and follow directions. Fold dream whip and pudding together and fill cream puffs.
