Heather's Chicken Salad

A great crunchy chicken salad given to me by Heather and we made it a lot when we were together. It can be eaten hot or cold. It is great both ways.

Ingredients

  • 4 c cooked chicken cut up into cubes
  • 4 c celery sliced
  • 1/2 c almonds (slivered)
  • 1 T accent
  • 1 teas salt
  • 2 T red onions (diced)
  • 4 T lemon juice
  • 2 c light mayonnaise (mix the lemon juice and mayo together before mixing it in the salad.

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients together. This salad can be eaten chilled or baked at 450 for 15 to 20 min in an ungreased pan until bubbly.
