Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24oz jar pasta sauce
  • 16oz jar alfredo sauce
  • 16 oz penne pasta, cooked
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan
  • seasonings to taste

Preparation

Step 1


In a large skillet, saute mushrooms in olive oil for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and continue to saute another few minutes until mushrooms are golden. Stir in pasta sauce and alfredo sauce. Add seasonings according to taste, I like to add Italian seasoning and basil. Mix in cooked pasta. Pour half of pasta mixture in a 9x13 dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella. Pour remaining pasta mixture over cheese. Top with remaining mozzarella and 1 cup shredded parmesan. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted on top.
