Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 T. or packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup dry milk
  • 2 T. butter, softened or veg oil
  • 6 cups flour all purpose
  • 1 T. salt or less if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar or honey and yeast in lg bowl and let dissolve with warm water
When yeast is bubbly add dry mix. softened butter and 5 3/4 cups flour and salt and mix with spoon till mixture holds together. Use the rest of the flour to kneed with.
Knead on floured till it feels like it belongs together/ 3 to 4 minutes, let it rest a few minutes while you fix the bowl with grease, Knead again till its smooth and elasticy.
Form the dough into a ball and let rise in bowl till its doubled , Put into pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 3 to 35 minutes.
