Ingredients

  • 1 ⁄4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 ⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ⁄4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. minced fresh dill

Step 1

Mix together dijon mustard and dry mustard in a bowl. Whisk in sugar, salt, and lemon juice. While whisking, drizzle in olive oil. Add minced dill.

4. To serve, place a slice of gravlax on a piece of pumpernickel, then top each with a little mustard-dill sauce and a sprig of dill. Repeat the process to use up all the gravlax.
